Facebook 30 day ban - Yippee!

Options
Am I really weird for almost being happy to receive a Facebook 30 day ban?
The first thing I thought was - well, at least I might now be able to keep up with the Advents:j, and get into the swing of it before the ban is lifted, and can start entering the Facebook ones. Though I might well decide to leave them out altogether.:)

Out of curiosity, how frequently do people who have suffered FB bans enter comps on there? Just wondering if it might be a fate that awaits me eventually.

Always said LIKE & SHARE comps aren't allowed - and companies still insist in doing them ............ nice of them to get their "potential" customers banned

But what the problem with like and share comps... Why should the potential customer get banned?

I've entered lots of FB comps in the last six months but have never had a sniff of a ban.

Then again I have never entered a L&S comp as I only enter via FB Apps.

Personally I wish firms would stop using L&S style comps.

I have entered a few l&s and actually won a 50% off voucher. But I don't see what's the difference between a co doing a l&s with a sponsored ad. Maybe being a little naive here as not a huge fb user. Can someone explain?

As weeowens has said; App comps don't appear to be a problem whereas Facebook consider by liking / sharing comps you are spamming. Of course, the issue is merchants offering Like and Share comps but its us who get banned. Best advice I can give is only enter the ones that you really want to win. I probably only do 1 or maybe 2 at most a week now and I haven't had any suspension/ban issues now for 6 months +

Same here,I never do the like and share ones and no ban for me either,I'll post them for others if they want to enter but most of the best comps are through the apps so I don't think it's worth risking a ban personally. Firms will never stop doing them though because it is basically very cheap advertising.
