I like all types of beer and what I should have said is that I prefer not to pay over 50p for a bottle or a can of beer.

I know that this will limit my choice, but that is the stand I am taking because like most things in this country we the consumer are being taken for fools and being ripped off.

Therefore I will continue to buy cheaper beer and if there is enough of us doing this, then they will have to lower their prices.

Could we not all get together to use the internet via twitter and facebook and boycott certain brands for a few months. the prices would soon come down if nobody was buying their products. I suppose I can dream.....

So remember when you guys are in the pub once you have drunk a third of your beer raise your pint glass in the air say cheers and then drink the rest of the tax
