I've just opened a can of tesco value lager to toast in true Mad style.

Bully, i'm not sure if this is acceptable to Mads family and friends, but i'm thinking we should all club some money together, and send a tribute for his funeral, if I may suggest "elite" spelt out in flowers ?

The donation total is £337. Can we get it to £400 ?

  • I have some sad news

Our dear friend Mad :A very sadly passed away yesterday. He is at peace now.

So sorry to hear this. Didn't know Mad well, however, I always thought he was a true gentleman. He never complained about his illness or told us how seriously ill he was. A true star to the end.

Thoughts go to out to his family.

    Rest in Peace.

I'm exactly the same, I didn't want to explain in work why I'm crying over someone I've never 'met' so I've held it in but that song always makes me cry anyway. Thank goodness I'm home now.

That reminds me of some words of wisdom from my mum (to a friend who was getting upset at the fact that she cried more at a nephews funeral than her husbands)

'we don't just cry for the person we are remembering today, we cry for everyone we have ever lost'
    very apt I think
