COT what is the situation with duty etc on this being sold in dollars. TIA

Don't know if this helps DS ordered a DVD from USA he had it delivered to my house came last week.

    DVD price £24-99

Before Post Office released DVD had to pay £11-09 customs charge

    You'll most likely pay nothing.

    All other goods

If you order or send purchased goods other than alcohol, tobacco, perfume and toilet water from a country outside the EU then you:
    • don't have to pay Excise Duty
    • may have to pay Customs Duty on goods with a value that exceeds £135
    • will have to pay import VAT on goods with a value that exceeds £15
Note that on all goods from outside the EU, Customs Duty is waived if the amount of duty calculated is £9 or under.

Since it is over £15, you'd be subject to VAT, but because the VAT value is lower than £9 it would be waived.

    It's only a game

Oh would you thanks Wool. :)

She wants a size 12, but a size 10 would be ok, had ordered the bigger size to allow for thick jumpers but I may have to relent on that one. And it has to be the khaki colour. ;)

Did you see the link for it earlier?

    Tinyshoes:A,

Your box is full:A I've ordered almost the same one and I'm between 8 and 10( I'm tall), but 12 is just perfect for normal, not thick jumper. Perhaps she could be able to try few jackets and like one, before buying:A

Can't you console her by telling her that if it's sold out online and in every H&M for miles......that means everyone and their dog will be wearing the same coats ;) so she might want something different

Yes that's true. I bought a jacket from Asda a couple of years ago and so it seemed did everyone else in the town  You could guarantee that I would see at least two other women wearing them when in town. I didn t wear it much :(

Me too. Has anyone ever been to one of these before? If so, what are they like? It says 6pm-9pm on the invite. Do you have to go at 6pm or just turn up any time during the session?
