Dont know about them only being available in small sadas. Mine's reasonably big, and ive got some last week. Can never have too many, live in fear of running out :rotfl:

It is the first shop I have seen them in! Not seen them in large stores, and someone said they are in the small stores.

Can you imagine running out..... good job there was a glitch on baby wipes not so long ago!!

I think the way to do it is for you to open an avios account and then convert your tesco points to avios (if possible wait for tesco to do their offers of 800-900 avios for £2.50 in deals rather than their usual 600 avios for £2.50). The recipient then also has to have an avios account. Then you can transfer your avios to the recipient.

This is how you do it with a BA executive account. Avios will have an almost identical scheme but worth comparing the 2 because there can be little differences. BTW you are allowed to have a BA exec club account and an avios.com account but only one of each per person.

The other way is if you both live at the same address ;), you can open a household account and then anyone who is part of the household account can spend miles that any of you have contributed. You have to be careful here because you will need a credit card to pay for taxes on flights and the address on the credit card will need to match the address for that person on the household account, which will need to be the same as that registered.....
It looks like they charge you to transfer Avios. I have some I'd like to get rid of, but looks like I'd be charged £100 this way :(

I don't know anyone I can 'sell' them to so don't think the household account thing would work either :(

I'll check Southampton & Whitely first thing in the morning x

Thanks, I was told Southampton don't have it this morning. That would have been close enough for me to go. ;)

Thank you thank you, everyone for the help. :A:A:A

You are all truly amazing peeps. Elite

I'm off for my whoopsied curry now. :D
  • I have indeed. My brother bought me some weeping angel and tardis cookie cutters for my birthday from there. A tardis cake is on my to do list too. Whilst on the subject is anyone else excited for Doctor Who on Saturday? I booked cinema tickets for it, going to have to make a mad dash from Taste of Christmas to make it though. Completely worth it :j

ME ME ME ME ME :D:rotfl:

Sadly only able to watch it on tv. Will be recorded though:D
