Jazzy that comment about a fart in a silent church did make me laugh. I'll take minor squabbles with you lot over trolling ANY DAY :D

Help please :pThis is probably a really dumb question but I'm not sure how to organise a 'collection' of what I'm buying online from tesco instead of a 'delivery'. How do you get a click and collect (so I can just go to tesco and pick up my order) sorted after you click checkout instead of going to the delivery slot page?

I'm trying this half-price thingiemajig for the first time so excuse my ignorance.

And, I'm sure I could have phrased my question better, so sowwy for not being concise too....did I mention I totally suck? :o:rotfl:

And another question (oh dear! not again)....what does it mean when something in your basket is written in red with a lil red triangle underneath?
:D if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.

People get DTD on OOD SELs all the time

Just say you didn't notice the sign, assumed it said 17/12 rather than 17/11 or that you thought it must have rolled over

Always have an excuse ready..other than "I only bought it for DTD"
Thank you so much for your speedy response. I'd moved away from the display to check on here as I didn't want to draw attention to myself. When I went back it actually stated till 17th November 2013 in big bold type right in front of your eyes. There was no way I could have missed it. I really wanted the discounted cards for xmas pressies so I just bought a £10 Next card as a tester & to make up my £40. It went through at full price, never mind, I didn't ask for dtd but I will keep my eyes open for the offer to re-appear sometime in the future.
I looked at the cheese/wine offer but there were no signs up but a stand with the 1/2 bottles of port next to the cheese. A member of staff went & found a list of the cheeses which were included but most were the speciality types. There was a farmhouse cheddar but there were 2 different types of that on display but only 1 was in the offer, so will need to very careful to pick up the correct ones. It's 4 cheeses plus a bottle for £10. Most of the cheese didn't have a very long date on them & there were no mags so decided to wait a bit & get some nearer xmas & use a voucher if I can find the mags. I imagine the offer will be on for a while as they haven't even got round to getting the signs yet.

  • Hi all,
    Hope you are all well.
Taken a break from here for a few days as it wasn't quite the happy thread it used to be and was getting me down.
Take it I haven't missed too much then?!

just seeing this but I wander around most days not knowing the date :o.. why are customers supposed to know if it is still valid.. That'd be my line (and a true one too)
