    She is not me!!

  • Has anyone used a finest double up voucher with the meal deals lately?
Do they scan ok now, or do we still have to go to CS to do them?

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
  • Can i ask, what is the average time for a shopitize withdrawal to reach your paypal account?

I have done it before but sure it was there within a day or two, but this time i have been waiting over a week for mine, anyone else done a withdrawal lately with them and still waiting for payment?

I stopped smoking on the 18th of July 2013 and besides having really good health benefits I have saved £973 now that's what I call money saving lol I went to Cardiff last week to the Apple store and bought myself an iPhone 5s 16gb cash I traded my iPhone 4 for £112 cash to a store called GAME so I was delighted with that I am waiting now for the Sales and I will buy myself a Smart television I should have enough by then and to think it could have all gone up in smoke. I am so happy that I am now a non-smoker!!!!!!

    Afternoon all

    Very well done in stopping.
The friend who took me to IDH on friday is a heavy smoker but agreed to go into the NEO e cig stand. Had a trial smoke which he was gasping for after 1 1/2 hours round food and girly stands. Bought one to try which he started friday night. Since then he has only smoked 5 roll ups opposed to the 40 a day he normally smokes.
What is strange about this is that from a clinical point of view you need to really want to give up smoking in order for stopping to work.
He had no desire to give up and was looking at an e cig as solving his problems at times when he is unable to smoke (my house my car ect).
He admits his food tastes better and his house now smells of air freshener.

I will be encouraging him all I can and hope that eventually he will use e cig only then move on to the nicotine free one.

Congratulations on becoming smoke free as it is not easy at all.

    Blimey, when's the party!!

Well done, is the wine part of the meal deal? TIA:D

Yes, the garnacha is in the meal deal, giving 3.00 back on each meal deal. You shouldn't really use the double up vouchers for the meal deals, it is dependant upon the SA, 4 of mine went through ok, the other 2 had to be put through as non scan.

I got charged for .315kg of ginger today instead of a couple of pears.I didn't go to get a refund because I've already had two refunds in the last couple of weeks and the same person was on cs.Also didn't want them writing all over my receipt for when I use the apg.It is quite hard trying to keep a low profile.

Just posted about this, don't think they go through without having to do it manually, I had to 6 to use and only 4 went through, had a mixture of finest wines and 2 meal deals with garnacha.

Savvy.A question for you.Are Sada's online prices supposed to be the same as in store?

I don't know! Question best asked of A's HQ Customer Services/Press Office (depending on your view/level of cynicism).

On the one hand, I have occasionally been told (by instore) that prices online are different, or may be different, to those in store. Had that once when I spotted an item with a SEL much more expensive than the online price I had down, CS insisted it would scan higher than the price I had, I was equally adamant it wouldn't, they scanned it and were surprised (I wasn't:D) that it scanned, correctly, at the lower price (the price online).

I think they're probably 'supposed to be' the same instore as online, but occasionally prices may vary from store to store. One of my As - I have no idea why - always has its SP Waters at 19p although they are online and on msm at 17p and instore everywhere else I can see at 17p. They always appear at the price paid (whether 17p or 19p on APG though - so has no effect on me). I think some had the SP Soups instore slightly cheaper than the 24p price. Lucky people - until they put them on APG shopping and lost that slight saving:D.

I sometimes like it however when prices online and instore don't match. Particularly if they are on multi-save instore but full individual prices only online. Or if the SEL instore is cheaper than the true, 'background' online price (and if the item scans at that higher price - sadly those waters scan in that store at 19p as given on the instore displays and the price online is cheaper). Remember it's the prices in the 'background' that are much more important/of interest, including prices at the competitors.;)

(I'm sure, if you've got anything special to tell us about prices that might not match up, you'll let us know.)
