But..never assume! Actually I dealt with the whole bump thing very calmly. Probably too calmly for belief:eek::eek:. It wasn't that serious - probably because I'd had that stupid driver bump into my car when parked outside my house only a few months back, and had dealt with all that.
No, I don't know why my posting on here (afterwards) went like it did. Probably just following on of different special interests, more so that than from the bump. Oh well - it's another hour taken from my life tomorrow, hanging on the phone to the ins. co.
These things happen.
Quite liking, a bit, being called "the man behind the lists"!:D:T
You did deal with it calmly, but you were still bugged about it. Perfectly normal
that's what's unique about this thread, you'd never ever in real life find a bloke who's normally very restrained socially, venting about his very serious car bump experience.....pausing to talk about fanny soap and behaving like it's all perfectly normal
it's only normal here0 -

Oh, watershed ending isn't at 5am, it's now (since 2011) at 5.30am. (Long time since I was on that special interest!)
Perhaps a move for those "+1" channels, that mean in effect the main channel has to be 'child-friendly' until 4.30am, so that the +1 isn't therefore in breach.
It started off at 5am in the mid(?)/later 1990s - I could of course go and find all the details and provide a full chronological history. I'll spare you (and me!:D) from that though.
Wonder what consultation, if any, there was in changing it from 5am to 5.30am though? I think the 5am seemed to have been just a made-up-on-the-spot moment from the old Broadcasting Standards Council*. Or maybe it wasn't - I wasn't privy to any information about how the BSC Code of the time got that 5am into it.
So - my apologies for the inaccuracy:o:o (based on the out of date nature of when it was my special interest!).
* You may have seen me refer to the "Broadcasting Standards Commission" earlier, not Council. That is correct. It was Broadcasting Standards Commission later on, but "Council" when the 5am first appeared! If my recollection serves me right.
(I love this, as now, as an adult, I can freely give my correct knowledge, and not appear like a boring swot as I would have appeared to other children when I was in school, so used to not give the fully correct answer sometimes so as not to appear to be the know-all that I am now and can now freely be!:j:j I am just going to be right, now. No need to apologise for or change things.)0 -
