  • Could be dozens of reason you're losing connection though, many outside of Sky's hands. Do you actually know where the problem is ?

Sounds like you could have the perfect reason to re-negotiate ;)

Tried speaking to them explaining the situation - got fobbed off with various things. One of their top men telephoned me and we checked out some more stuff. Ended up he was stumped :( so I got a reduction which has pacified me for a while but its nearly up now. Hence my initial question. A new router has been suggested - but think they would have to offer me a bit more than that for the inconvenience alone

Thanks for all your advice evrybody :T

    Phew !

Incidentally, do you know why bull elephants have four feet ?

Because they would find it difficult to mate if they only had 6 inches ... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i let mine have them at two but i was holding it with her making shapes and my dd whos five had her own this year and last year but my o/h was standing rightnext to here ready to take it, we dnt do fireworks as dd1 isnt that keen on them but dd2 whos 3 loves them so we comprmise with sparklers we have quite a few packs :o

one thing i will say is yr DDIL holds almost all the cards so dnt rock the boat to much

my mil sticks her nose in all the time(not saying thats what yr doing ) and belive me theres times where im raging at her (but mostly in my head;)):rotfl: i try keep peace for o/h and kids (id quite happily never see them again some times :o:eek:

its sounds to me liek theres friction between you too?
what did your son do ? did he say she not having one?

at the end of the day we all do diffrent things with our kids

for example my dd1 who is 5 isnt allowed out on the street to play with other kids same age and bit older and one younger than her as i feel its unsafe for her to do so

but other mums think its fine ,

if its a dry day they can all come in garden if there mums say yes and play with her thou:)

not wanting this to come cross as nasty what do u mean talk to her like teenager?
Ddil and my son talk to my granddaughter in long drawn out explanations that are way over her head to understand , neither of them have been round children much if at all other friends kids at get togethers which weren't many as they lived abroad until gd was due ..... so they both lack of a sense of infant toddler stage .... just straight to teenage life and they let her decide when she wants to go to bed , and she has a full sized trampoline to play on which is quite dangerous as far as I am concerned ...and you are right she does hold all the cards and she uses them believe me , but to put my Grandaughter's safety at risk with sparklers :eek:and wait for this she allows her to play in street too  `and she is not 3 until February..... and believe me I haven't said a word to ddil about any of these matters but I would really like to run her over sometime soon  Although I do say to my son about these incidents but to him it's well she is ok ....stop fussing ..... he doesn't actually say stop fussing but to him his dd is ok so looks like I am fussing
