We have one who comes to work smelling of alcohol, consistently calls in sick or is late on Mondays and paydays and is generally crap at her job and still gets away with it

I worked with somebody a couple of years back that smelt of alcohol and was very aggressive in the work place, unfortunately for me I had to train her up, wasn't pleasant at all..

Remember feedback is a gift.. In my workplace that is what is drummed into you:eek:
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

This should be fed back to her - not acceptable behaviour, and is letting her colleagues down. All companies should have an attendance management policy!
    Is she the 'boss'

    :j:j:j:j

There's no point. Let's just say that although it can't be proved, there is an element of who you know and not your ability to do the job

 I might have done that:o:o it was too easy though... Was a low amount (under the limit to ask for assistance) and it was very busy..

I do know that the trolley guys womble vouchers. And my store, tbh knows they do. But we allow it (when I say allow it, I mean turn a blind eye to it)

Must have been another SA that reported her

It was disrespectful and thoughtless but more than likely unintentional and judging by the email the lady in question regrets her actions and feels incredibly guilty but come on behavioural plan and gross misconduct? please? we've all made mistakes at work haven't we?
The thing is that it was not a mistake, she could have got up at any time and switched it off and she didnt. Anyway, we shall see what tomorrow brings, I really didnt want to do it when I was so very angry, Im still angry, but calmer.:o
PS she has been walking about laughing and joking all day (not like her at all)
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • Right lads and ladetts, I will say good night to you all.

Hope everyone is safe and happy

    Sleep tight

claire1972 is absolutely right - by not feeding back you are not doing anyone any favours. You end up frustrated and the person isn't given the opportunity to improve their performance at work:cool: I welcome feedback from my Colleagues!

A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together ;)
