She was on the phone for 30 seconds before she wanted to be off as Coronation Street/Emmerdale was on the telly. I hold resentment as she was very demanding of DS3 in helping to care for my dad in his last year, which stuffed his AS levels up. She said she couldn't afford help, so we paid... she still used DS3 all the time, and when we did probate as he had not signed his will we realised that they had loads of money..... she never clicked that she had been selfish. I don't think she ever will, and now her is ill it just gets worse. But at least we still have her with us, and it does allow me to come to terms with things and to enjoy what time we have left.
I dont think mom does it on purpose. Its just the norm for them. My neice even has her own bedroom at moms, not a guest bedroom so my bioys dont understand that they can stay too.. Parents hey! Who'd be one? Just want to do the best I can for them and not take these precious times for granted. Before you know it they are all grown up.
I must be doing something right though. My boys, who are in the same class at school, but different sides of the room, had to write about their hero. They both put mommy. I was so happy, and surprised it wasnt daddy for both of them! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

Oh my auntie couldn't believe it. My Mum was over the moon(I gave her first pick of the flavours) My MIL found it quite strange but really that's cause they don't need the help.

84 :rotfl: they were never round my way
It's amazing the strength you can muster up when something is free.you should see me on my bike when I've got it weighed down with goodies. I think I managed to get 40 odd packets of cookies back on my bike when they were glitching, they weighed a ton :rotfl:
It was when they were rtc at 50p with £1 moc. No one else seemed to shop in same t as me back then. I think i got about 300 over a few weeks. I gave 50 to my local homeless shelter. They were over the moon. Probably because i gave them boxes of 5 beans and chilli soup at the same time:rotfl:Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
