I do try and encourage them do spend time with her. Last weekend, i gave mum 3 cinema tickets from m and ms. I asked her to take the boys as they love the cinema. Her first question was did i have another so she could take niece. I told her yes i did but i wanted this to be time with my children. She then phoned to adk what goidies they like?! I said get them a big bag of maltesers and popcorn. She said she wadnt made of money and a small bag would do. Now bear in mind i paid for the cinema, kind of, a small bag of sweets costs 70p and the pouches were £1!! I was fuming. Brought them myself. She got her goat up saying i always want bigger and better. She missed the hit where i was payning for her to take my children out so they like her, and that i knew via sisters facebook, that she had taken my neice and nephew out for dinner the night before. My sister pays for nothing. We went to ikea yesterday, she brought a gingerbread kit for neice. I just walked away. She then appeared with three sets and said she would have all three of them round to make them! My sister has moved next door to her this week. Its gonna be interesting.
She sounds better than mine, as she never took them anywhere. But they are still lovely to her, the two eldest rang her last week... with a little reminder. She was on the phone for 30 seconds before she wanted to be off as Coronation Street/Emmerdale was on the telly. I hold resentment as she was very demanding of DS3 in helping to care for my dad in his last year, which stuffed his AS levels up. She said she couldn't afford help, so we paid... she still used DS3 all the time, and when we did probate as he had not signed his will we realised that they had loads of money..... she never clicked that she had been selfish. I don't think she ever will, and now her is ill it just gets worse. But at least we still have her with us, and it does allow me to come to terms with things and to enjoy what time we have left.100 -

RT @MSE_Deals: Glitch rumour! We?ve heard Pampers wipes are £1 a pack but scanning at 15p at Boots & 3for2. Barcode ends 428. Worth a try i?
I think you have to go to a manned till and cashier has to key in a multiple of 12
It doesn't work if you scan them through as singles
Assuming it's the same glitch that's been reported a few items alreadyApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

To be fair, I have given up on the beauty sleep, I think it is time to let perfection slip away. As George Orwell said.......
