So would I!:rotfl::rotfl: They're holding auditions for that - wonder if some of us on here have gone to them? I like Bristol at the moment - nowhere near you Aau1 though unfortunately - think they'll move onto places including Manchester perhaps 'nearest' (quite a trek, though, if pardon the pun - or even if not:p) to you.

As for those bendy cucumbers, should have picked a better one up. Though I think they're probably fine - just that the normal customers go for the more aesthetically pleasing ones, when in fact there's no different. Shame really as tons of veg. and fruit gets chucked out or never bought by supermarkets in the first place, simply because consumers won't buy it if it doesn't 'look' right. In reply to the photo of the cucumber - I trust that cucumber went into the right shop, with some snakes:D.

I've met most of the actors from most of the different Trek series. Been in a few of their houses as well and had dinner with a few of them too

Oh, also made it to the set and attended a couple premieres !

    Sainsbury's Non Bio Concentrated Liquid - 32 washes £0.50

This was supposed to be 4.40 GBP, on sale at 2.87 GBP, and scanned at 50p at my Sainsbury's Local. Not sure about elsewhere.

P.s. Don't vote cold because home branded items are beneath you

Some mixed reports going by the comments but one did say
They had these in my sainsburys local. Along with Ariel stain remover 50p, finish rinse aid 50p and mr muscle oven cleaner also 50p

    so maybe worth a look

Seeing that the 'usual suspects':D (certainly all those interesting people that I wanted to be here with:T) are here, I may as well tell you of my earlier story in the shop.

Went back, doing my Avs M shopping. A couple were examining some of the sweetener products very closely, trying to work out which was the best. I felt like interjecting and telling them should take the Hermasetas 2500 as that would be way cheaper vs Morries at the moment. They could have put it in my shop and got it from me for 10% cheaper than M:D. In the event, I stayed schtum. Always a problem for me (but don't worry about it too much folks;)*) plucking up courage to talk to people - either just can't work out how to say something (and have to think a long time before doing so) or just, usually, more difficult to go up to someone and say what I feel (unless it's something specific like going to a CS counter or with an enquiry etc. - more 'formal' setting that, not informal conversation so don't have problems with the 'formal' enquiry type, dealing with people who as part of their jobs). Anyway, member of A staff was quite close by - and I thought 'not everyone can know' (referring to the couple). That's the trick - don't reveal it to all - buy different item that looks expensive on the shelf but works out cheaper vs specific rival!:rotfl:

Then, a few moments later, I passed through the chocolates aisle (with the 3 for £10s there) - a young man and woman again looking at shelf as to what to buy. I saw that blue and green McVities tin (quite good size as well, thanks to the poster who gave me the heads up on that) and thought briefly maybe I should get that together with the two Milk Trays. Trigger there (the McVities) just on the bottom shelf.:rotfl: Fortunately I resisted the temptation - that's the downside of knowing exactly what to buy (or at least what was to buy 48 hrs ago, not sure if it's still the same now). The man said well those (pointing to another choc. item) - to his girlfriend/wife I assume - were cheaper last week. No, they weren't I thought! Still the same price now, but only vs store A instead of store B:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

*I'm long in the tooth enough, so don't worry!;)
