How do I combine two jpg images to make one ?

Have two separate photos and want to make them the one photo. They are jpgs. Is this possible? For free

Of course. Presumably you want just want to place them next to each other and create a single larger image?

Any free paint program will do this really. Have a look at IrfanView or GIMP. I've linked to portable versions to save you having to install.

I use the GIMP for image editing. You can simply create a new blank image of the required size then paste in your two jpgs, arrange and crop as necessary.

You can do it with Paint!

2nd vote for using the software that comes with Windows.

Use Paint. Open one picture, make the Image > Attributes very large and then use Edit > Paste From to select the 2nd picture then drag it to suit.

Save it before editting.

Picasa collages would do it. Picasa may seem a bit more user friendly than GIMP etc. and lots of people have it already installed.
