Regular Saver-not paying tax on it?

Hello,
I have a regualr saver due to expire next month and I have read somewhere that in order to not get taxed on it, I need to fill in a form as I'm not a tax payer yet. Does anyone know what form this is? Or have I got it completely wrong? I just want to get my full interest rate.
Thanks

It's the bank/building society who need to have it, too. They should have forms to fill in, as required. You need your NI number.
If the savings are taxed at source, then you can claim this back from the tax office, if you have overpaid it.Debbie0 -
Excellent-exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks
Do I just fill it in and give it to my bank then?0 -
Yeah pretty much. I'm in the same situation (in other words, I don't pay tax yet) and I've simply filled out on of those forms and handed it in to my bank. There shouldn't be any problems :-)0

It might be different depending on your bank. A&L have one in pdf format you can print out then post back. ISTR Icesave have the option of registering it online without the need for a hardcopy.Debbie0
