    Good news. AOS has let me know today that, in view of the inconsistent times on the TPS documents, the operator has decided to cancel the PCN on the basis of human error. I had not yet made any contact with the operator myself.

    Both cases are therefore now closed, with satisfactory outcomes.

    My sincere thanks to all who provided assistance in these two cases -- especially Coupon-mad, for your patience and for your detailed and very helpful replies. It was a great comfort to have your sage advice!
