Safestore costs spiral

Hi
I am helping a member of the family who stored some goods with Spaces 10 years ago. The business was taken over by Safestore in 2004.

The cost of the unit per month, over the years, has more than trebled, and my relation has not been adequately notified of increases in costs (partly because he is disabled and partly because Safestore have used the wrong e-mail address.) There are a number of issues with the rental really. This is onyone off them...!!

The cost he has been paying this year is more than double what we have been quoted for a similarly sized unit in the same safestore building today.

We have tried to gain some paperwork from Safestore, but the contract they produced seemed to include some fairly recent (according to SSA) contract inclusions.

It would be really useful for us to have a look at a Safestore contract of the 2003/2004 era for comparison purposes if anyone has one they would be willing to post or e-mail (pesonal details scrubbed of course)

Thanks so much for reading this.
Any suggestions would be most welcome

As pointed out on your other thread someone elses contract is not going to help you.

I can't see how being disabled is a reason why your relative would have not been informed of price increases. And if the relative is aware that Safestore are using the wrong email address why haven't they been told to change it?
