SB Starting a IT Training Company
lecturer
Hi All,
I am planning to start a training company specialising in Cisco / Networking and Network security training. I have a considerable amount of experience in these fields and initially hope to cater to corporate clients. My experience is as a consultant and lecturer. As I am new to business, have a few questions...
1. Sole trader or Ltd ?
Accountant has advised to go initially as a Sole trader, and if business picks up to go Ltd. Is this a good idea ?
2. Website
Could anyone recommend a hosting provider please ? Was thinking of using
123reg or names.co.uk ?. My web developer has advised to go for names.co.uk ?
How much should I spend on the website ? This is a simple site with less than 10 html pages.
What is the best way to select a name for the business ?
3. How to market my services ?
This would be the trickiest bit !, how do I get hold of information about IT departments of companies who would require training ?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Lecturer.
