Tesco Insurance Need Survey for Listed Building !

I have just rang Tesco to get a quote for Contents and Buildings insurance. I first tried to do it on the website and it told me I had to ring up because I had a listed building. 3 Bedroom Terrace House
I rang and was told that I had to get a Survey done in order for then to provide me with a quote ! I believe the survey would cost between £200-£300 all in order to get an accurate re-build cost.
I am currently with More Than but I wasnt sure I was getting a good renewal offer £330.88 for both Contents and Buildings insurance. So in money saving style I was trying to look around and get the best deal
Any suggestions as to how I could go about this now ?

Tescos offer a simple bedroom rated policy and its probably not best for your building. More Than (also known as Royal Sun Alliance) is a better policy and are more accustomed to dealing with no standard applications.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yep, avoid Tesco - the cover is quite restrictive and aimed at the 3 bed semi of modern constuction.
Try NFU and Hiscox as well - lots of experience with listed properties, thatched roofs etc.0
