Obtaining old Virgin Media bills

I discovered in May that we were being charged for weekend landline calls despite having free weekend landline calls, so I wanted to find out how long we had been overcharged.

The online bills only go back 6 months (I hadn't downloaded any for a few years - doh), so I contacted VM and asked for copies of older bills, but they said that they could only provide bills up to 12 months old.

I would have thought that they must have at least 3 years of bills. Has anyone ever requested bills over 12 months old?

Incidently we are no longer being charged for weekend calls, but they still haven't reimbursed us for the additional call charges.

You can get all information that Virgin Media holds about you by sending them a data protection act request.

However they may charge up to £10 for this and the information may not be presented in the same 'style' as the typical bill
