Customer provided incorrect postage details

I've recently sold an item to someone on ebay and they have given us the wrong postage details. They gave us the house number of 2 instead of 24. We have posted the parcel out to the address provided (which is confirmed in paypal) and it has been delivered and signed for at the address.
The customer has been to said address and has had no joy getting the parcel back. Obviously it isn't our fault as we have fulfilled our part of the agreement and sent the parcel to the address provided.
Does anyone know what I could suggest to our customer to do from here?
Thanks

You are better off asking on the ebay boards for advice.
If you have tracking showing it's been delivered to the address they gave you then as far as paypal are concerned, you are covered and they will not force you to refund.
If you are sure that the item has been delivered at number 2, and they are denying it/refusing to hand it over, it sounds like your buyer might need to go to the police. (What is the value of the item?)0 -
Hi,
Thanks. The customer has been in touch with the courier again and they've now informed him that the people at number 2 refused the parcel and that they are sending it back to us. Despite the couriers being adamant that it had been delivered and signed for at number 2!
It's a good job the customer wasn't a grump as he could have gone and kicked off with the people at number 2! :S0
