ooh, and finally, the cheeky beggar who turned up friday night, and waited in the rain turned up last night, and had a right do at me for not being in and not still having the stuff. ended up shutting the door in his face.

PLEASE tell me you are going to the mods with that, that's harassment! I'd had had him carted off by th police personally!

It's nutters like that that always make me worry about giving my address out. Who know's who'll turn up at the door!

Got a reply last night from a lady who posted a wanted on my group looking for dressing up stuff and books for a local preschool. Shall get back to her today and make as big a bin bag of stuff as possible for them to use as she was so pleased when I said about the recent offered I'd posted. Glad I waited and held on after the grabbers e-mailed me :D

It's people like that who shouldn't be allowed on freecycle - it's threatening behaviour / intimidation / etc. Let us know what the mods decide to do about it 'cos I'd be interested in their reaction. If he chose to stand in the rain for 45 minutes after you'd specifically said you'd choose someone the following morning - how thick must he be:confused:

 How rude and ignorant of him.

A while ago I had a bloke get irate with me because I gave 'his' item to someone else. Thing was he hadn't bothered to come to collect it at the arranged time and he'd just dropped by about a week later without even saying he was coming.
Now I only tell them to pick things up in the evening when hubby is home too. I'm 5ft 1, he's 6ft 3. Nobody gets irate with him:D .
