I'm looking for any football kit for my four year old.
Essentially, shin pads and football boots size 11(ish) maybe a 12
depends on how they come up. Maybe a standard England shirt and shorts
too since that's what the other kids were wearing.
He started football on Saturday, stayed for an hour and a half and
wasn't sure if he liked it because "they won't let me have the ball" -
but I'd like him to try going again and see if he likes it before I
spend any real money on equipment

BIG Hello's to the new faces, welcome to the freecycle 'enforce manners' squad. please feel free to berate the greedy, rude, overly stupid people that you come across.
if you offer something then do remember the choice is yours, you do not have to give it away, you want to give it away. if you don't get a request that makes you feel happy or comfortable you can always wait and try again.
If you really want to get shot of something pick the nicest message or check what people have offered in the past. after a while you will spot the serial wanters who 'need' everything that is up for grabs.
on one of my groups we have a serial giver who must have cleaned out her kitchen and wardrobes over the last week, so if she ever requests anything of mine she gets it unless there is an exceptional request.

BTW, it is a pink straw and the cat used it to snort coke >non fizzy<:eek:

Well - one lot of stuff's been collected (clothes). Really nice lady who's just emailed me to say how pleased she and family were with the items I gave them. :T Seemed a very genuine person.
