Is there a point to this thread other than taking the p*ss out of people using another service, while buying a few cheap thanks on here?

    Here is another one:-

I feel cheeky even asking this, but I know from my mum that this is a
great group of people and I was wondering if you could help me out. My
mum's car has broken and will cost £1,000+ to repair, which is as much
as the car is actually worth, and she doesn't have that sort of money
(or any at all) right now, so I was wondering if anyone's getting rid
of or dumping a car with a few month's MOT that she could have
instead? You can be sure it'd go to a good home, we live in the
country, so it can graze the fields, watch the horses, breathe in the
fresh air, etc, etc. :) Seriously though, it'd be truly amazing if
someone could help us out with this. Send me an email.
    Thanks so much for reading!

    morning all,

my inbox wanted this morning include ipod, mp4 player (i thought they were called mp3? a typo?) motorola rzr mobile phone, ps3, and aga.
offereds more exciting. 4 rabbit hutches, 2 rabbit runs and large quantity of chicken wire. have a feeling bones has been bunny hunting round our way.

on the personal freecycle front, waited in 2 hours last night for a no show, got an email this morning saying didn't come as it was raining, will pop round one night this week when its not. yeah, fat chance. i really do just stay in all the time in case you might call. on the upside, fantastic lady came and took other items away, was so grateful and chuffed with them it almost restored my faith in the human race, lol.

    have a good day everyone,

MP4 is the video and music players. MP3 is just a music player. I only found this out last week!

When I first started reading this offer I thought it looked more link a sales ad than a Freecycle offer - then I got to the first word of the last sentence.... Do you think they've got the hang of this Freecycle lark?
Solid Mahogany Dining Table and 4 Dining Chairs

The table is SOLID regency mahogany from William Bartletts'
Strongbow range, an excellent quality brand.

This table was originally purchased by my parents in 1976 and still
    maintains its timeless appeal.

Unextended it seats 6 people and using the extension creates ample
dining for 8 people or more !!

Understandably over 31 years the table surface has been slightly
damaged resulting in heat marks on the surface - it is possible to
remove these with the correct professional help. There is a slight
crack under the table on the support for the extension.

The table is supported on a double pedestal and has brass clawed
    feet.

The 4 mahogany chairs are finished in pink draylon and are from the
    Merridew range.

Buyers Collect only - from ****
How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.
