if he turns up tonight, he'll be in a & e, never mind the hat, mood i'm in today. had a lousy nights sleep, let me re phrase that had no sleep, and i'm slightly grumpy. I suppose i should email back and explain, but somehow I don't see why i should.

I don't see that you need to. You said you'd pick out of a hat tomorrow, you haven't e-mailed them back to confirm with them, so to be fair they have no reason to expect it as you have not at any point said they could have it.

Perhaps it'd teach them that their tactics for getting things need a serious overhaul!

Hmm I don't see why either - at least NOT UNTIL TOMORROW:p - you could always say that you'd posted your offereds and then were away/out until tomorrow morning, which is why you said 'pick out of a hat tomorrow' when you'd had a chance to log back on and check your emails. What a shame he had a wasted trip:rotfl: - hope it wasn't raining too heavily and he wasn't waiting too long:p

Can you remember what he was like from a previous collection - just curious.;)

thanks for the advice, your right, i'll email in the morning explaining, seems fairest, lol.

i remember him coming, as he was a bit rude actually, he said i'm here for such and such, said oh right, fetched it, handed it over, and he turned on his heel and walked away, no thank you or anything. put him off my list of people i'd give to anyways, its piddling down here, hope it carries on til 6pm, lol.
