many generous offers this morning, emailed again about my holiday i want rid of, and pointed out a lot of things offered wouldn't necessarily go to land fill, and quoted ticket to T in the park one on here, still said no. p'eed off now. there will be a top empty room at pontins next weekend, for no reason other that awkwardness. (and I am in no way insulting anyone, just makes me mad).

Try Preston instead of Blackpool. OK on our group.

Yes I know this is totally unrelated to Freecycle but made me laugh so much after reading the 'bunny nuggets' saga...

    Dear NatWest Bank Customer,

Recent email scams have attempted to consume customers...

Now I know they say the internet is dangerous but really:rolleyes:

Shhhh - don't let Bones know - he'll be posting on freecycle for a bigger pan ! (Whew, got it back on topic:p )

Regarding Mods getting first dibs......look at this straight from a horse's mouth (continuing the animal theme :D )
I have had so many replies to my mods wanted ad I'm absolutely
overcome. Thank you all so very much and I appologise if I can't get
back to you immmediately but I'm trying to respond to all the mesages
ASAP. I think we have enough volunteers now to cope with the influx...
but that doesn't mean that we don't need potential volunteers on line.
For anybody's interest, moderating is checking the messages to make
sure they comply With FC protocols and generally being irritating :-)
and then you also get the chance to get the first bite at the cherry...
I did't say that did I?... LOL... It takes about 1/2 hr per day at the
moment, but as the subsription increases it can some times be longer.
more people on the team, accesing the site at different times make the
    idea less daunting?... ....

    Hmmmmmmmmmm?

Edna's tip: Economy of words is always good, and saves time.

I suggest: "Broken digital camera" - end of message.
10 out of 10 though for them trying to off-load it! :D

    Joyce,

Sorry all this gutter talk :D

Still not had cuppa, just as well as I'd have sprayed the screen (again!), need for F5 button even more urgent as is tissues as I'm now crying with laughter.

As for commode - fine for now, but maybe if I post now.........

As for mod's getting first dibs - when I do an "offered" post, I never give it to the first person to ask, unless they are the only person after the item and have been polite. I like to leave it at least 24 hours after posting just to give anyone who wants the item a fair chance. Our Mod, only seems to be one, and she does a brilliant job.

what would be the point of one of us starting a new freecycle thread when we are not mods and can not lock the old thread.

Rabbit, Hedgehog and rodent recipes will be available from all good bookshops soon.
BBQ rat in a honey glaze goes down well.

Pretty please, can I have a signed first edition ? :D:D
Just found a 'bunny in batter' recipe for you - no, not a battered bunny

As a result of this thread, I feed the need to post a wanted shopping list of my own as follows:-

    > replacement f5 button for the keyboard as mine is wearing out with the continual refreshing of this page!

    > monitor wipes, I've sprayed my monitor / keyboard once too often and it's not with polish. Maybe a new thread in the old style board - how to clean <insert substance> from your monitor / keyboard.

    > copyright rights and royalties to bones61's recipe book:rotfl:

    > a share in the profits of bones61's lucky rabbit feet which he has not mentioned so is clearly selling them on the side (Blackmail part - no give me part of profits I grass you up to tax man!:D;):D and it's cash only!)

    > someone to drag me away from this pc / thread / site.

    > failing that someone to do the washing / cooking / ironing / etc etc when I'm on this pc / thread / site.

    > failing the aforementioned the number no make that email contact / skype contact details of a therapist (can stay on pc that way view thread )

    > going now, only because nature dictates (desperate for a cuppa incase you in the gutter are wondering!)

Awww Joyce..... you need one of Bones' soothing drinks, 'bunny hot toddy', page 8 of the recipe book :D
