Big problems with Barclays

Hello all,
First i hope this is in the right place and hope someone can help me, I am having severe problems with my barclays student acount
My problems started back in Aug 2006, I had an overdraft limit of £1600 for which I was £100 overthat limit, I arranged a date to come back inside my limit (which I adheared to I paid £1000 in),however when I went to use my card it took it
I went into the bank and they told me that my overdraft had been cancelled but it was an error on there part and it will be reinstated, he even signed for me to get money over the counter to do this, however 2 days later i recieved letters through charging me for being overdrawn as my limit was £10
I went back into the bank and saw a seperate personal banker, he applied again and told me that he would get back to me, he rung me back and told me that he couldnt do it but to leave it with him and he will sort it out for me
2 weeks passed and I went back in to see the same personal banker, he said that it had been rejected due to previous credit problems, I said to him that I was not asking for a new overdraft but my overdraft reinstated, something the bank admitted was there error
I then recieved a letter through saying I had been passed on to there consumer finance department, they told me that i couldnt deal with the bank directly now and had to go through them, when i explained the situation to the man on the phone he told me my only option was to pay my overdraft back off
fast foward to today and i have paid most of my overdraft off but have complained to the bank, they wrote back saying they accepted that it was there error but reinstated it when i went in to complain( for two days in august)
I have since rung them up and they have said that they did reinstate it, so i said why did consumer finance get in touch and so they changed there story and said they reinstated it in november(which goes against the letter they sent), they then said that it was in my terms and conditions that they may reduce my limit yearly, something which i said to them "yeah but reducing from 1600 to 0 without my knowledge is not a yearly reduction" they have also comfirmed that i have never been sent a letter stating my overdraft was being withdrawn
I just was wondering what to say to them further as I feel as though they are trying to pass me on and delay me as much as i can, they are ringing me back later today, all I want at the end of the day is my overdraft reinstated,my charges back and a note on my account saying i havent been £1600 overdraft for the past year, how long do these things usually take to get sorted?
any help appreciated
