wmp 11 gone funny..

visualisations, equaliser, srs etc, all gone, when you select visualisations from the menu its telling me to visit somewhere to download them, an i cant adjust the sound without the equaliser! any ideas how to get them back, it was preinstalled on my new laptop so i cant try and repair it through add/remove.

Right-click on the top of the window, View - Enhancements - Show Enhancements.

yeah i already tried that. live messenger also is crashing saying it cant load a media player plug in as its gone from the registry, so a reinstall is in order i suppose. nothing was changed, but this isnt the first time vital things have just 'disappeared' from vista..Fr. i cant uninstall or repair live messenger! both times its saying cannot open a registry file, so if i cant uninstall it how can i get it working again? if i do it manually it wont do a clean reinstall and ill have the same problem, advice?Fr. nor can i reinstall or uninstall wmp, it says i have the most current version so it wont complete either way..all the plugins are missing basically, microsoft redirects me to wmplugins but it just comes up as error and wont let me download anyting. all i need is the oiginal files putting back in wmp11 but theres nothing i can do to repair or even remove it!! please helpFr.
