Just fitted these all season tyres to mine to aid in the winter months, get some good reviews.
What are people's thoughts on their tyre's? Buy decent or anything black and round?

In my opinion, tyres are one thing you shouldn't skimp on. They keep you connected to the road, so to save £10 or £20 a corner doesn't make sense to me.
I've known people at work fit all sorts. Nankangs, Sunny's, Wanli's and remoulds etc.
Not worth it imo. If I go to view a car and it has crappy tyres on it, I often wonder what else has been skimped on!
Vredestein Quatrac 3 are very good tyres

I have ordered my misses the same tyres.
My mate fitted Wanli's saying they are fine as he does not do many miles!!! What the hell that has to do with it i do not know.
I took off some Kumho KU31's with approx 3-4mm as I wanted something better for winter, the Kumho's were good tyre's no complaints.Google gives you answers use it.........0 -
My mate has Wanli's on the back of his BMW. I just cringe!
I have Yokohamas on my car (tyres probably worth more than the car) but its worth it! Never compromise on tyres and brake parts!0 -
Bit late to be asking for thoughts if you have already fitted them :cool:0

Done 70K on 4 sets of Q3s all year round, damn good tyres. Never been stuck in any weather, anywhere in the UK from Northern Scotland to Kent.0

When I bought my current Merc estate, it was fitted with 4 of these tyres. In my opinion they are a very good tyre in both wet and/or wintry conditions. There is, however, quite a bit of road noise from them which I found a bit intrusive at higher speeds.
I did change two of the tyres recently through normal wear and tear and my supplier couldn't get the same brand and model for a few days, so I plumped for Pirelli Excellence on the front axle which are equally as good for grip as the Vredsteins but with considerably less road noise.
Hope this helps.PLEASE NOTE:

Vredestein are very good tyres, not cheapo nIngnong jobbies, they should do the job well. I have used Vredestein winters and also Vredestein Sessantas in recent years and performance has been excellent.0
