Presents for a 10 year old?

I have a 10yo DD and am finding it awkward cos lots of the things she is requesting I just don't believe she will be playing with by next Sept when she starts Secondary. Mine goes to drama classes and I have some ideas connected to that for her. This for when she needs to take costumes to shows

I've recently bought her a wolf onesie so it can double up as a costume for her in a part she's playing. I had to buy mine from ebay, but Primark had loads of different ones

She's also requested stompeez. Several girls on her recent yr 6 residential trip had them.

If your DD is yr 6 does she already have a phone ready for Secondary school? We are probably going to get DD a cheap payg for now and then a better one another year.
She is year 5. But is getting a phone for her bday0 -
My daughter is a bit younger (will be 9 in January). Could you swap the presents you have already got her for her birthday and give them to her for christmas instead? Then for her birthday, give her a voucher for a day out clothes shopping and lunch at her favourite restaurant?
This is what we did for our daughter as we too were struggling with what to buy her for her birthday given it's so soon after christmas. We used to do toys for christmas and clothes (and a few toys) for birthdays before but I would buy them and wrap them. This time I figured she was getting a bit old for me to choose everything for her.
She absolutely loved it and I was amazed by how sensible she was with her budget. We did go a bit over it but we were having fun! She loved it and I learnt that she really is growing up and not quite my little girl anymore
We're going to do the same this year and (I may) decide to take her to a piercing place as a surprise to have her ears pierced  Still think she's too young though so we'll see!"I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
