Hi Tilley,
In a previous life I was a Customer Service Manager for Mr T for 15 yrs (!) and used to deal with this sort of stuff a lot. Due to the fact it's not a T product all they're obliged to do is the refund/replace and maybe a voucher for upset/inconvenience due to the seriousness etc. UNLESS THERE WAS AN INJURY/ILLNESS -TOTALLY DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH.
In my experience you would be better off taking photos, sending a letter and the foreign body back to the supplier. The amount you receive will be relative the cost you paid however if you make a point of stating that you are more concerned with why and how it happened in this day and age of checking and double checking you will be more likely to receive an explanation and a couple of vouchers.
Hope this helps!
PM me if you need a hand with a good letter - I've received a few in my time!0 -

You would be better off putting this on the right forum
Consumer Vent
Youll get more information off there(this is also a polite way of saying that this is on the wrong forum!)0 -
OH NO!!! Im having a similar experience with MUller, My toddler son almost ate an earywig!!!........not sure of the real name.........beetly like horrible yuck of a thing, anyways, I sent it back to muller and am waiting for a response. They wanted the lid of the pack too but i had already thrown it away before I realised the insect!!!This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. So the assumption is the company are covering up, not that they need the glass to identify where on site it came from.
I would suggest that tilley needs to close the curtains and not answer the door, possibly even look for police protection
I'm with you on this one,What we see depends mainly on what we look for
