    Hi

I would take photos of the piece of glass and the bread roll to keep for yourself!! Photos dont lie!

Also, try phoning hte Trading Standards office too and making a formal complaint to them so that it is written down.

you need to contact environmental health as they will need to go and do an inspection

    DONT SEND BACK THE EVIDENCE.

A child could have died from this, its very serious indeed, dont send back the evidence. Worth taking a photo of the glass and sending to the bakery co, and let them know that youve passed the illegal item to environmental health.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    " dear (me)
we are writing in connection with your recent complaint regarding Kinsmill Everyday soft white rolls that we bake

To assist in our investigation of this complaint, we wonder if you would be kind enough to send us the sample and any packaging. For your convenience we are enclosing a freepost envelope
We will then contact you again when our investigations are complete"
then it just says thank you for your time etc etc

letter says "we wonder if you would be kind enough to send us the sample and any packaging" which to me means they are not expecting me to send anything and if i just send a few pics that aint going to help them sort the problem
    agghhhhh what to do

No doubt if you sent it back you would get a letter and a voucher for 10 free loafs of bread or something... or as said do the official route.

If I was you I would ring trading standards or citizens advice and ask them cause you could send it back and it mysteriously dissapears and you only have your word about it all....I wouldnt send anything to Kingsmill yet.

See what Trading Standards or Citizens Advice say, they'll take it seriously and should send you in the right direction.

The photo is a good idea.

I have a 7 yr old girl who never stops eating and I buy them rolls aswell..
    I wont be anymore though.

I found a pubic hair in my muesli some time ago...Jordans asked me to send it back, I did (having taken plenty of photos just in case, and getting proof of postage) and then a couple of weeks later I got a cheque through for £9.71 or something daft like that (no idea how they worked it out...).

That said, I expect they've lost more than that through the incident - I haven't really fancied buying muesli since :)

I think it's down to you...send it back, see if they send you something nice, or take it up through more official channels.

 post it on a freebies board on a money saving website - oh wait... you did that

would be the first thing I'd think to do if i'd just been eating glass
