"Off-Peak" Electricity Tariff

Hi Pauly I am on economy 10 with scottish hydro. Wet electric central heating system. Price rises : off peak-35% to 12.39p inc. vat
peak-13% to 18.67p inc. vat
Asked for explanation and got a long winded email full off the usual bull from power co.
Heating power unit is Amptec 9Kw unit , hot water on immersion which is super insulated and v.cheap to run . We don't waste power anything not being used is turned off , not left on standby.
Dreading the really cold weather it's going to be very expensive.0
