A few years ago my broadband usage shot up. Turned out it was my daughter using various catch-up TV services. Her Freeview aerial connection had broken and instead of asking me to fix it, she just switched to online viewing. I fixed the connection, she went back to Freeview and everything went back to normal.0

The problem with peer to peer stuff like torrents etc.
Whilst your downloading the file other people are also uploading parts of the file that you have.
If you leave the file in the download folder they maybe still connected for some time later.
Youtube downloads can soon mount up. Unlimited maybe the way to go.

Plusnet have had unlimited broadband for ages and it turned out cheaper than the 10gbs a month of use that I had before.0

I'm stunned capped data plans still exist in these days of HD streaming. 3GB isn't even a film's worth.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0
