Has anyone looked back at the MOT history of your car. Just done mine and there weird bits in the history. It also tells me my suspension of its not being very well maintained could well be true.

How do you check the history? On the Directgov site I only get the current test with a pass/fail?
EDIT: I was on the wrong part of the site - google MOT history0 -
I don't think this shows anything particularly untoward, perhaps previous owners have taken the advisories with a pinch of salt, the short MOT probably down to a new buyer wanting a full MOT. Some cars are particularly prone to particular faults (needing more regular replacements when OEM parts aren't used) or for example, old XJs always needing their handbrake done, because they are nearly all autos, the handbrake is in a stupid place, so it goes unused.0

When I checked the history for The Other Car, I found that it mysteriously lost about 60,000 miles about 18 months before I bought it :eek:
Pity I didn't know about the online history before I bought it, likely could have bought it for a bit less money :mad:I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
