48 letters from HSBC! New account needed

Having requested my last 6 yrs statments from HSBC, i had cause to email them as no response had been received. This morning 48 seperate enveloped arrived from them with a few statements in each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im still ploughing my way through them!!!:mad:

I need to open another bank account but got turned down by citibank, wheres best to apply, just want a basic account but do not have the time to sit in loads of different banks only to be refused?? thanks

I was refused banking at a lot of places but finally got one at Royal Bank of Scotland you can apply on line and their cash points feature a lot at Tesco's

I just applied to RBS, but got turned down online!!!!!

How did you know it wasn't accepted? I just applied for a basic account and it came up saying it would sent out the paperwork..does that mean mine is accepted?

Try Yorkshire bank too, theyre really good

My mistake!!! I applied for the worng account online and was refused. have now just completed the application for key accouint, and been accepted in principal, so will wait and see if it does go through!!

Worked my way through the HSBC statements and total charges come to 3,500!! So onto the next step now in reclaiming the charges!!

I got refused a basic account from RBS but was given one by Lloyds. They are great other than not giving a debit card.
I was also turned down by Natwest (after being given an account number and being told that i had the account)

hi,please think about applying for alliance and leicester premier direct account online.
you can get up to 70.00 in total refferal as well.

i have defaults,massive credit probs,got turned down for all basic accounts and citibank but a and l gave me cheque book and visa card and full account.

lots of others have the same situation as me and seem to have got an account.

And a Citibank account!
