Curious marketing phrase that Dl...roasters and chips I would thought need to be firm whilst cooking.... and mashers not.

Heston appears to disagree with you :)

  • Max six of each item per customer. Thanks to dlusman for sharing these offers.

Is this new? A few weeks back when the offer was coffee and dark chocolate, 17p per 100g, the woman in front of me had a whole box full of the bars of chocolate !

If you look at the back of the leaflet there is normally one or two of the offers that have a small triangle mark against the price and then in the small print at the bottom "maximum 6 oer customer" - this week it applies just to the turkey steaks. ( I did not put this in my original post - it has been added by MSE ) . Usually irrelevant because you can just go round twice.

Got 6 packs of turkey. The savoy cabbage was only 39p, some a bit small but managed to find a decent sized once.

I made her tea with my Lidl tea bags for a few days and she didn't notice any difference at all.
Taken your advice a bought some (3 boxes in fact) of the breakfast tea this afternoon. Am now enjoying my first mug; its not quite Twinings, but not bad. Could be a bit stronger, so next time will use 2 bags.

Another way to do it is take a friend with you who want a different offer. You get six of theirs, they get six of yours..or drag partner.

I saw the camomile tea on BoGOF at Lidl - not my thing though.

Tbh I travel a lot and Twinings are the standard teabag used in hotels in this country, in generous supply. Whilst I leave the toiletries well alone, I always take the teabags :D.
