BBC ran a series years back called the wartime kitchen and garden.
Not the series with Ruth Goodman in.

Hopefully this will bump a really useful thread back up the pages. With a possible unknown because of the possibility of Brexit and not knowing what will happen if it goes ahead this thread is full of useful food ideas and might help make what we can get hold of go further.
