Replace lean to with extension- Party wall guttering advice

Hello,
I am looking to replace a side lean to with a brick built extension.
Next door have a flat roof extension right up to the building line, which I believe is a party wall. They are about 2 feet lower than me as we are on a slight hill.
If i built right next to their wall what are my options in terms of guttering? It will be a pitched roof running towards their extension.
Could I have a box gutter so that my gutter doesn't tresspass their land?
I need the wall to be as close to theirs as possible so that I can still have a door going down a side passage.

You either need to build the wall away from theirs so that your guttering doesn't overhang their land, or design the roof that the water falls in a different direction.
If it's a lean to extension, then the roof can be one slope, falling away from the main body of your house.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes you can have a box gutter that does not overhang the boundary, it is a relatively simple detail and far better than leaving a 4 inch gap.
Alternatively ask the neighbour if they would consent to a traditional gutter overhang. If they are not planning on adding a first floor extension the gutter will have little impact on them.0
