Boots elec toothbrush ripoff

Hi,
I purchased an electric toothbrush from Boots, they've now withdrawn their own brand, heads included making item unusable.
Not having much luck with customer services. What are my rights?
I think i'm more upset about the situation really, the earths resources made into an unrecyclable item, but you buy expecting it to last what 10 years, at least 5 hopefully longer.
I feel as long as customers have these toothbrushes they should sell the heads needed. Not sell brushes, then remove from sale rendering useless. Very out of order. Don't know what to do...

If these are the correct type, try bidding.

It is annoying when they discontinue something shortly after you've bought it, you'd think they'd still to the heads for at least a couple of years longer.
I've had the same problem with razors and blades at both Boots and Sainsbury's, bought a razor and blades for my son, went back to get more blades only to find they've been discontinued.
A sign on the shelf saying they are being withdrawn shortly wouldn't go amiss.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Yes.
Whilst googling to find make, saw review in independent of "best toothbrushes" that was April this year. So to still be selling, promoting item, then discontinue like that, when you need new parts, is just wrong.
The other companies are the major animal testers, & theres not a superdrug where I live. For some reason I thought Boots would be quite reliable. Won't do that again!0
