Getting money back from website seller
Gazicus
Good Morning
I hope this post is in the right area.
I bought a spy watch as a present at the end of April 2013.
It was advertised as a Diesels brand. Upon receiving the item I noticed that it had Diescl written on it instead.
So I contacted the seller who claims they don’t sell wrong goods etc... Even though I saved the pic off the website and sent it to them they still ignored me.
In the end they agreed for me to return the item for a refund, they have refunded me a credit note that can only be spent on their site.
I have emailed loads of times stating that it was there fault for wrongly advertising goods and therefore should give me a full refund back into my bank account. But they have just ignored me fully now and don’t even reply to my emails
I have even tried to log onto the original website and sign in however it seems my account has been disabled. The phone number on the site doesn’t even work.
After several emails I decided to contact Trading Standards who forwarded me onto the UKEEC and so far it just seems like everyone is ignoring me.
Can someone help me please

Who is the reseller and who is UKEEC?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
And how did you pay?One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

The Who.is information doesn't look promising here: http://www.whois.com/whois/factormania.com
Registered overseas and, importantly, the user registration information doesn't tally with the information on site.
Common scammers tactic.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Um, factormania are not a UK company - looks like they are actually based in Spain, and are related to a few other websites such as 55click and weeksite.
I would be very wary of them!1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

You were quicker at getting the info than I was!1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

...i paid direct debit.
Direct Debit? Are you sure?
If so, then make sure you cancel the direct debit with your bank to avoid more funds being taken.
Or perhaps you paid by debit card?
If so, have a read of MSE's Debit Card Chargeback article.0 -
