Where do students live in Newport

I am aware that the student population is due to increase in Newport. I am considering buying property there, to let to students.
Which areas should I be looking at to purchase.

I'm 20 and live in Newport, Gwent. I am not a student per cé but can tell you what you'd like to know. Areas to avoid are Pill, Duffryn, Ringland & several others. Areas you should consider are places in Caerleon as this is near the uni campus. Also I know a lot of my student friends who live near the town centre as this has good bus links. Any other questions, feel free.0

I have been looking at houses in Caerleon already, including those being rented out already, through the student accom office.
