Is a LUK DMF/clutch from Eurocarparts exactly the same same as one from Ford?0

Ford use either LUK or Sachs (ZF), they also briefly used Valeo. LUK clutch catalogue sometimes indicates the OEM clutch kit manufacturer for your specific car.
If buying parts yourself get them from carparts4less.co.uk - it is actually Eurocarparts, but much cheaper."Retail is for suckers"

The hydraulic clutch slave needs replacing at the same time, as they have a similar shell life and if it gives up in 5k the box is coming out again,Be happy...;)0

Is a price for £430 like quoted above typically not including the hydraulic clutch slave? Is the slave just a bearing which needs replacing?0 -

Good point. It appears the 1.8 diesel uses a concentric slave cylinder = positioned directly around the drive shaft and on the clutch.
It's a hydraulic part. £60 to £150 for a LUK part.Is the slave just a bearing which needs replacing?

It does come with the slave cylinder (it is the black coloured part).
However, I much prefer carparts4less.co.uk price.;)

You also need the DMF, obviously, and DMF bolts (1x set)."Retail is for suckers"
