NoI have heard from people that contacting the financial ombudsman may help speed the process up, is this true?
The Financial Ombudsman Service will do nothing until a complainant has gone through a firm's own complaints procedures.
In your case, though, it would not help anyway because you are claiming against somebody else. You have no contract with their insurer.0 -
I would be very careful about getting a car from a credit hire company as if the third party is not deemed to be liable you could end up with the bill. Having dealt with mor insurance years back you would be amazed at the different accounts of the two people involved in the same accident!0
