Late arrival at Gatwick

Hi, we are looking at the cheap flights with Norwegian air from Alicante to London Gatwick, unfortunately it arrives at Gatwick at nearly midnight and I am having trouble finding a) car hire open at that time or b) a cheap hotel near the airport that lets you check in after midnight. Is there anyone out there who knows of any hotels or car hire that opens 24hrs.

Any of the chain hotels will allow you to check in after midnight, but you will have to check out at the normal time (some as early as 10am, others up to midday).

I believe Europcar are open 24 hours a day.

Premier Inn, right next to North terminal (you can get the shuttle if you're arriving at the South Terminal) allows check-in at anytime, just let them know if you're arriving after 11pm, checkout is 12.00 the following day.

Welcome to MSE. Premier Inn have hotels beside the airport. You might also find a better choice of car rentals if you arrange pick up on the following morning after your hotel stay.
