You sound a funny guy BB! Lol
Wow memory girl, you've done so well! That's just how I want to do it, we have quite a lot to clear though, but it's starting now & it feels great to finally be on that long journey! Did you read the book then, or did you just use his principles?
Our debts stand at
CC 1 £4260
CC 2 £5080
Loan 1 £3000
Loan 2 £6500
Loan 3 £13500
I know the loan for £3k is less than the cc's but we want to get rid of the cc's first as the 0% runs out on them both next year.0 -
When next year, and what APRs do they go up to?0
-
The cc 1 is 0% until April 14 & the cc 2 is 0% until July 14.
I hate having the credit cards as you can't see an end date, we got those balances by stoozing & then being stupid and spending the money instead of saving it, we were so so stupid! :mad:0 -
And what will the APRs go up to?0
-
I don't know what they'll go up to, but I know they're getting paid off so it won't matter!0
-
Well we've got to the end of Thursday (cos not going out again today) & we've got £5.00 left over from my little experiment, so I'll put it in the overpayment pot. I've taken out the money for the weekend so any money left over from that on Sunday night will go in the same pot & so on....
I hope it works! Got to keep trying stuff lol

It will matter once the 0% expires, as part of your monthly payments will be going toward paying the interest, rather than paying off the balance.
You need to know the APRs, so you know which one to pay the most to.0 -

A general rule of thumb is pay off what is costing you money at the moment. You could then look to balance transfer to another 0% card to give you more time.
What is the interest rate on your loans?0
