Printer does not work

My lexmark printer z32 does not work, I cannot even print a test page. Please help, what can be wrong. I know it is time for a new one but I have just bought a new cartridge. Thanks

mascherano may be right but I'd like to dig a little deeper before coming to that conclusion.

Can you give us a bit more information about the problems and what you have tried to try and fix it.

What is the exact model of the printer? How old is it (I'm guessing it must be "old"-ish as you say you think you need a new one)? Does the power light come on? Is the printer recognised/seen by your computer? Have you tried reinstalling/updating the drivers? Besides the test page what else have you tried?

Have you taken the strip of tape off of the bottom of the cartridge when you put it in? Check this, then check it is clicked in properly. Remove all leads and put them back in again to check all connections. Is the power light on? Does it make any sort of noise?

No, it's not. It's working now but only print word documents. I have done a test page and according to the result the printer is installed correctly. The problem now is when I print web pages e.g my bank account online, it goes with the process of printing but only blank pages. I have scanned with drive agent and this is the result I got.

BAD - DriverAgent has a newer or better driver for this device. I could not download there as I had to register. The printer is a lexmark Z32 and the computer dell Dimension 5150. Thanks
