Minor Update

In light of my London trip I felt ready to be able to find a job, nothing had came up in terms of any replies back etc, but yesterday my old workplace called me to ask if I would work a couple days to a week to help a primary school, just move some things around.

SO today was the first day of them couple days, it went well, I wasnt nervous or scared at all apart from when the taxi driver they ordered for me took me to the wrong location!

Other than the fact my head hurts and my legs are quite sore, for my first day of working in 3 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, it was good.

A step in the right direction.

Thanks for all the lovely replies in my last thread :j

Good news Michael! It is a shock to the body when it is asked to do things it hasn't done for while - I recommend a long soak in a hot bath. Hopefully, this will lead to more.

You seem to have found a whole new confidence. Good on you for having the courage to give things a go and doing so well.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
  • Thanks for all the lovely messages, Although this only for a few days, its been a massive step

From small acorns great oak trees grow. It doesn't matter that you are initially just working for a few days. What is significant here is that you are now able to attempt something, that just a short time ago daunted and overwhelmed you. As you quite rightly acknowledge you are taking steps forward in the right direction. I hope this is the start of a whole much happier chapter of your life.
