How do you womble receipts?

No probs Jofish - glad I'm not the only one still learning!
I reckon you could just take the receipt from Asda home, check it and then take it back in.I'd probably only take one at a time back in thought as any more than that and they might get suspicious?
My nearest Asda is 30 miles away though so really for me its only Sainsburys and places like Costa that I can do.Determined to save and not squander!

Just a heads-up for everyone-I was in Tesco today, and it seems they are currently doing their Price Promise,so there are sure to be womblable receipts discarded in carparks :beer:SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

I hoard my Asda receipts, sit at the computer each month & then tap in the barcodes.
Some are useless as the shop was cheapest at Asda, others are worth between 20 & 80 pence (so far!). I then copy the printable voucher into word, email it to myself & print it at work (printer ink is *so* expensive) & then take the batch of receipts & matching vouchers in.
So far, Asda has no trouble with me using up to eight at once - it's all money in their coffers & they ask for an email address & postal address for the vouchers, so the receipt is the least of the matter.
All the best & happy Wombling!0 -
Another useful way to use wombled itemised receipts is to check them against the money back offer from shoptize, mysuperlist. Quidco and topcashback.
Also you might be lucky enough to find and item bought which has a no quible 30 day money back guarantee. Pampers did this a while back and often laundry detergents have these to. The latest is leedammer cheese.
So a basic wombled receipt with no price promise wrapped up in it could still have items of value from cashback sites.
There is a thread about these offers lower down the thread lists in the shopping area.
You can be very lucky with wombles.
Can put boots points on too if you find a receipt.

Is there a way to check the exact description of the items on a receipt? I am looking at an Asda receipt now, and Comfort is listed on there, but how can I tell if it the right Comfort to claim cashback? (Comfort Pure is 30p cashback on Shopitize at the moment. Is there somewhere I can enter the 12-digit code on the receipt to look up the item?Extra Payment Every Week Challenge:

I have saved a lot of money this year by collecting unused sainsburys nectar point reciepts. As others say you get an eye for it and can then spot those with the unused points on from a mile off. I have also found around £10 worth of brand match coupons lying around which I've used immediately. If you find tesco reciepts you can use those to be added to your club card. Just be careful about the times on the reciepts. Some store people are more savvy than others about suddenly having loads of reciepts all for the same day etc. I tend to add one or two reciepts discreetly." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Do you have to rubbish bin dive to get these receipts or are they just lying on the floor. Why would someone throw rubbish like that on the floor. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0
