Any one haggled with Autoaid?

My breakdown cover is set to expire in around 2 weeks or so, and they ARE the cheapest fully comp breakdown providers out there, but still wouldn't mind trying to get some sort of discount if I could :D

Also, I think the costs of being with a "spouse" far outweighs the cost savings it brings for couples :p

But still it's not bad I guess at £39/year :)

    I don't think you'll have any chance.
    It's an excellent deal.

Why don't you find a spouse earning more than you :-)

Thanks. Thought not. Erm, I don't really want to get married yet :D :rotfl:

Besides, I would think that any marriage costs far, far more than £39/year :D

You have nothing to lose trying a haggle at renewal! MSE urges it. (And autoaid do give offers to new customers)

It's covered in the MSE car breakdown guide:

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car-insurance/breakdown-cover
Don’t just renew. Want to stick? HAGGLE, HAGGLE, HAGGLE

Say you'll leave unless you get a better deal.
The guide points out a good success rate even when haggling with the smaller companies.

The point is they have offers for new customers so there is room to haggle, or leave!

You can always come back as a new customer if that's better than nothing!
